In the world of football result forecasting, a new oracle has emerged to rival the famous Paul the Psychic Octopus. Meet 'Bubi,' the African elephant residing in a reserve in Thuringia, central Germany.

On Wednesday, Bubi showcased her clairvoyant abilities by kicking a ball into a goal adorned with the German flag, confidently predicting Germany's victory over Scotland in the opening match of Euro 2024.

Originally from Italy, Bubi celebrated her prediction by waving the black-red-gold tricolor of her adopted home. After the prediction, she enjoyed a well-deserved bucket of barley to recharge her psychic powers.

Bubi's interest in football was discovered accidentally when a ball rolled into her enclosure, and she promptly kicked it back.

Her ability to foresee the future will be put to the test on Friday night during the game at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
