Natacha Akide, famously known as Tacha, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, has openly dismissed allegations linking her romantically with married men. In a candid conversation with Chude Jideonwo, a renowned media figure, Tacha emphasized her innocence, challenging accusers to provide evidence of such claims. She confidently stated, “There were rumours that I was sleeping with married men but they can’t bring one married man because they know there’s none."

Tacha further highlighted her self-sufficiency and hard-earned success, distancing herself from the stereotypes often associated with women in the entertainment industry. She asserted her financial independence by mentioning, "I say it proudly, any day, anytime, anywhere, in my sleep, in my dream, everything I enjoy I worked hard for it. Not a lot of people can boast of that because we are in an industry where there people don’t want you to progress."

The 28-year-old entrepreneur also addressed speculations about her financial backers, particularly refuting claims that her trip to Ghana was funded by a 'sugar daddy'. On her X account, she firmly stated her stance, underscoring her capability to earn without reliance on others: “I make legit money and you call it sugar daddy. Okay, hold my beer."

Before her Big Brother Naija fame, Tacha was already a budding entrepreneur. She detailed her journey, starting with her wig-making business in 2016, launching 'Simply Tacha’s' eyelashes in 2017, and establishing a makeup studio where she trained aspiring artists in makeup and wig craftsmanship. Tacha also shared her experiences traveling for freelance makeup artistry and earning through influencer engagements from 2017 to 2019, showcasing her diverse entrepreneurial ventures.
