Nigeria's U-17 team, the Flamingos, are scheduled to leave for Bamako, Mali, this Thursday to face Burkina Faso in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifying match on Saturday.

The venue for this crucial third-round tie has been shifted from Ouagadougou to Bamako's Stade 26 March due to logistical issues faced by the Burkina Faso Football Federation.

The match promises intense action as the Flamingos aim to secure a favorable outcome before hosting the return leg at Abuja's Moshood Abiola Stadium on May 18.

In a recent update, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a change in the officiating crew. Teneba Bagayoko from Mali will step in as the fourth official, replacing Joselyn Nsabimana. The team of officials also includes Suavis Iratunga, Fides Bangurambona, and Alida Iradukunda from Burundi.

Oumou Souleyman Kane of Mauritania and Aya Irene Ahoua from Cote d'Ivoire will continue their roles as match commissioner and referee assessor, respectively.
