Solomon Ehigiator Arase (1956–2025) was a Nigerian police officer, lawyer, and intelligence officer who served as Nigeria’s 18th Inspector-General of Police (2015–2016) and Chairman of the Police Service Commission. He is remembered for key institutional reforms, including the Complaint Response Unit, intelligence-led policing, and advocate work for police veterans.
