Alex Kiprotich is a Kenyan investigative journalist and Standard Group associate editor. Awarded the 2010 David Astor Journalism Award, he has led regional news coverage in Nakuru and reported on public finance and police accountability. He made national news in September 2026 after being safely recovered following a reported overnight abduction along the Gilgil–Nakuru road.
