Adama Barrow is a Gambian politician, businessman, and real-estate developer serving as the third president of The Gambia. Born in 1965, he became the candidate of an opposition coalition in 2016, defeating Yahya Jammeh to end 22 years of authoritarian rule. He was re-elected in 2021 and leads the National People’s Party.
