Checking your results is easy! Follow these steps:
Go to the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) website: https://results.knec.ac.ke
Enter your Index Number.
Type in one of your names as registered during KCSE registration.
Click Submit to view your results.

Students who got an A (Plain): 1,693
Students who scored C+ and above (University Entry): 246,391 (25.53%)

New KCSE Grading System
The grading system now considers:
Mathematics (compulsory)
Best language (English, Kiswahili, or Kenyan Sign Language)
Five best-performing subjects
This system was introduced in 2023 to help students get fairer grades.

Exam Cheating and Cancelled Results
2,829 candidates' results were withheld due to suspected cheating (investigations will be completed in 30 days).
840 candidates' results were canceled due to confirmed cheating.
