President William Ruto strongly criticized former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of lacking a clear vision and plan for Kenya’s progress.
Speaking at a massive rally, Ruto dismissed Gachagua’s leadership, claiming that his focus is on creating divisions rather than uniting the country. According to the President, some leaders want to separate Kenyans based on tribe, region, or financial status, but such tactics will not succeed.
“These people have no plans, no ideas, and no direction,” Ruto stated firmly, emphasizing that his government is focused on building the nation rather than engaging in divisive politics. His remarks come at a time when political tensions are rising, with both sides exchanging accusations.
Many believe that Ruto’s strong response was aimed at countering Gachagua’s recent criticisms of his administration. Political experts suggest that this growing tension indicates a widening gap between the two leaders, as Ruto seeks to strengthen his support by presenting himself as a unifying force
.
With loud cheers from the crowd, Ruto reiterated his stand, saying, “Those who want to divide us will not succeed.”
